Depending on the story, I can pick up a character again pretty quickly, actually. It's one of my favorite talents.

Yes, well, unfortunately this is the problem I'm having now.

I've had this problem a few times. Have you tried reading everything up to your part? Perhaps that will get you back into the swing of things.

That does help! But I've only made one addition and my character is on his own so I'm kind of like "er..." I had this problem a lot with Enforcers since it was difficult to get everyone to go in a timely fashion. Plus I feel so drained after working on NaNo this year, which happened last year too. @_@
On the other hand, I have lots of writing things I need to do and catch up on. >_< I shouldn't have let myself get so far behind before NaNo. I'm beginning to feel overwhelmed again.

Well then, let's see what we can do to help. What are you working on first? Or planning to work on first?

I don't know. Which one deserves my attention more? I was thinking Antihero because it's been my turn, but Terracotta was my turn before NaNo. On the other hand, Sybeline needs to move sometime.

TERRACOTTA!!! Do you know what also helps? Rereading all of our chats about them.
Sometimes with RE, Laras sulks for a bit but I've still got to write something. So I reread old emails and stuff and make sure he has to come out of his self-imposed clusterfuck and deal with shit.
*says the guy whose turn is definitely spiraling over a week in EVERYTHING.

Yeah, except all the notes say about Terracotta for my character is "oh, you accidentally stumble through the veil.... much much later." The plot was pretty much developed with out me, so my character doesn't have much of a role in that one. xD

That's kinda how all of us are. I've got nothing until later. Seriously...the only thing I have to do for the next several rounds is save a slave. We've plotted everyone out for the main plot, but we haven't really gotten to the main plot yet, so we're all wandering around and developing our characters. And the world we're in. Keep in mind, there's a world to build, too. We've got evil priests to get around, a dangerous city to navigate, etc. Have your character accidentally bump into one of the others, so we can start getting these characters in groups that could conceivably be picked to go on a quest.

Yeah, you can get in with our group. Matt's character and mine will both be after saving Toire, him because he likes to free things and her because Shade told her to (because he wants Toire to take over the Death Cult in the end).
In the end, your character can join the Death Cult, too, if you want.

On the downside, after watching so much True Blood in the past few days, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to start Night Life. I've had about all I can take of vampires. @_@

True dat.
Having re-read the notes, I think Sera should actually meet up with Hel. She is supposed to hear from the children about the ring they have given Embry and then work the cards to find out what is going on. If Sera were to meet up with her, she would see just how important he is to the cause. Remember, we decided his tattoo is a binding spell, to keep him from sensing the Terracotta, or exercising his natural ability to cross dimensions? Hel would know that that is and want to keep him close. Then, when Embry finds the map and goes to Hel, having heard of her as a wise woman about time, Hel insinuates herself into the group, bringing Sera with her.
Kenaz is supposed to free Toire, and thus undo the binding on Sera at the same time. The children have similarly come across Kenaz, and would alert Hel to his presence in the city. Hel would seek out Kenaz, who would bring Rei and Toire with him (with the go-ahead from Shade, who wants them to go with Kenaz anyway and free him).
Um...question. Beast, have you sent out an e-mail for the benefit of the people not involved in this forum? So that everyone knows (especially Wenny, Kat, and...KC I think?) what their character is supposed to do and when. Also...Wenny appears to have gone AWOL along with Wolfie (are those two not the same person? I think they might be...), so we might needs to kind of work together to write for her. Because she's sort of important...

No Vampires it is. I think the world needs to move on from vampires, really. And, to a lesser extent, werewolves. True Blood has ruined so many undead creatures for me.

Wolfie was sucked in to RP and I believe Wenston got pregnant. I'm not one hundred percent on Wenston, so don't take my word for it, I just know that she was trying to.
As for meeting other people, I don't know enough about anyone else's characters to feel comfortable to bring them in to my additions so far. x:
I love vampires and werewolves. Especially werewolves. And I know deep down, those are probably the things I'll be doing most of my writing about for, like, ever. But like I said, I need a break. True Blood and X have given me supernatural overload. @_@

Oh, awesome! I hope that works out for her.
Hmm, if you're not comfortable with that, then you could always write an addition that ENDS with meeting Hel, who has a tendency to invite people in to eat (especially young street urchins). You could reference the tattoo and what it means and stuff, as it'll have to be known as a binding spell before Kenaz breaks it. I don't think Sera himself knows, which is why I was thinking a conversation with Hel was the easiest thing to do. But I'm sure you'll figure something out. You're brilliant enough.
Also, Matt...you know you're still up in Fall the God in Tears, right?

You know Mynt, with your character and all of us having basic plans and nothing more for the plot the way this story evolves will depend on what we do in reaction to eachother's posts. that's one of my favorite things about CFs. How you can plan one out and then end up with something completely different in the end that you would have never thought of by yourself.

I think she's got this. She just needs to stop thinking and write. Right? (That was kinda fun...)

Is it night time or day time in Terracotta?

My addition is at night. But I hardly think it matters. You could move the timeline up a bit, I assume.

I know. It's one of the best things about your additions. I know it was definitely nighttime in my addition. Rei operates at night.
