Thanks, Beast. I'm just waiting for Matt to finish all of his post-school celebratory celebrations before I remind him of how many campfires he's currently up in.

OK, he's aware. I just didn't want to push since he's all celebratory and France-y.

I'd rather be in Scotland, and Matt got to be there every day.

I'm here ALL THE TIME.
Erm so I have a question - where have they landed in Rouicia? Is getting to Ysandria going to be part of the story or are they in Godswood anyway?

It's a journey of a couple days to Ysandaria. They've landed in the Godswood, but to the north of the Irie, the river to the north of the city...and probably some ways to the East. They'd head toward the mountains and across the Irie into Ysandaria.
Basically, Ysandaria is in the southwestern portion of the Godswood. The Irie runs on an almost straight east-to-west path (there's a slight northerly bowing that dips south again just west of Ysandaria before it goes into the mountains), and the Kal dips south through the cypress forest (the Urugan) before turning north to run nearly parallel to the Irie until it dips south again and then west just south of Ysandaria (to border the city on the east and south) before heading into the mountains. The city is in the foothills of the Alandiel and quite hilly.
The gods did this intentionally, so as to be defensible. Ysandaria is pretty much an island to itself.
So...it'd take a couple of days at least to get to Ysandaria from where they are, and they'd have to cross the river Irie.
