Oh okay, Quaddy, be SUPER literal why don'tcha!
I mean that in my head her sophistication and all around together outer appearance could make things potential excessively hard for her suitor. She could easily be considered cold, and aloof when she merely has trouble relating her feelings in such a way that she doesn't feel threatens the pedestal that she has built for herself.
Her suitor will not know that she is truly in love with him until she finally just blurts it out. (I'm thinking at least)

Ooo, fun. I'm just waiting for Zeph to post his character and then we're off. We'll each take a few days to hash out the basic details of our characters' courtships and make sure no one is stepping on anyone's toes, and then we'll just write.
Also, I picked up Middlemarch as per Matt saying it's a gem for English towns. I'm 70-something pages in and I want to strangle Dorothea with my bare hands! What a dipshit.

That's the point - you will want to strangle her and you will probably love the new young doctor. But by the end, your sympathies are so much the other way round. It's so amazing. She makes the unlikable 1000% likable. And now, even though I'm like FTW DOROTHEA at the beginning still - I also things she's amazing.

UGH, I'm sorry guys. I have super limited time for being on the computer cause of the remodeling that's going on in the living room of the house. Most of the day I can't get on so when I am I'm working on Mortality. I know it's kind of sad to be taking this long on a bio.
