Yeah, it's all up there. Just in two pieces. There's a note and everything.
Also, addition limits? I never limit people...only force them to write more than they might want to. Although I think I trusted people in this campfire to write well enough that I might not have put one in. I might have, since it's habit...
Did I try the new look? I...don't...think so?

New Look? No. I hate change. I go through it reluctantly and never voluntarily. These sentences only really apply to technology though. I'm too slow with techno changes to react well. Whereas stick me anywhere in the world and I'll find a way to deal with it. Even Miami, where I started smoking all over again to deal with the shitness that is shit city.

You know...you'd think the fact that I'm from SE Florida would make that last statement really offensive. Instead, I agree totally. I'm sorry it made you smoke again. Please, if you come again, you can stay with me and I'll take you to Disney World. Or the Dali Museum. Or MOSI. Basically, I'd take you to Orlando and Tampa. Oh, and Cassadega (the spiritualist city) and Cape Canaveral (YAY NASA!) And then there's the Keys. Who doesn't love the Keys? Basically, you went to the worst part of Florida.
Also, I don't do technology very well, either.

Yeah sorry Q. Don't worry though, it was after you left and went home that it became epic awful. Next time I will call and be like "It's Disney Time!" or the keys. I went to Long Boat Key once when I was like... 7 or 8. I still have the t-shirt.

Dude, I totally agree that Miami bites the big one. The only thing I'd want to show you is Vizcaya, as it is now a part of Rebel. Other than that, it's Disney time.

Um...OK. So, anyone seen Iron Man 3 yet? If so, you've seen Vizcaya. That lovely mansion in Miami? Totally our favorite early 20th century Italian villa.

I thought it was fine the old way. Before they changed it that last time.

'Streamlined' my ass. And it's WRITING.com. So who blood cares if it's too wordy. And why the hell would I want to see some shitty online icon for what is likely a mediocre story??? If people spent more time worrying over the content of their writing and less over the 'cover' I'd be happier. Stupid facebook influences.

Dude, congrats Matt!
Also, the change is...well...round.
I didn't see it as necessary, but I also really don't care.

I...really don't like it. Now that I've messed with it a bit, I really don't like it.

OK, I hate it. It's official...I really hate it. WHY DOES EACH ADDITION TO A CAMPFIRE GET ITS OWN BUBBLE?!?! It looks ridiculous!

Really? Omg, that sounds terrible and I'm afraid to look.

Ewww. That's going to make it a hundred times more time consuming to save it all.

I think the only positive change I like is that they made the author names stand apart from the rest of the addition...

We'll get used to it. ...eventually.

Post by Quaddy on May 5, 2013 21:57:17 GMT -6
I dunno that I'll get used to the campfire thing. It's really...well, it makes the individual additions more important than the overall story. And I don't like that. Especially with a story like Rebel, where the characters are all subsumed within the story...

I.. don't get that part of it. But it is rather ugly.

Post by Quaddy on May 6, 2013 0:04:07 GMT -6
And I tried...it still doesn't solve the "my addition is too long for the system" dilemma. So...no. Still don't like it.

Weird. Maybe it's only if you go and edit it? I mean that's when you had a problem, right?

Yeah. It might be that. At least I hope it is. The next round's addition is shaping up to be well over 12k in length.
