Mortality= A story about immortals that I started. It's on the board and it's Mynt's turn right now after which the second round will start. It's shaping up to be pretty interesting so far.
Top Ramen= Packages or cups of instant dried noodles. Add water and microwave for 3 minutes or boil for 3 minutes and you have noodles. It's bachelor/college survival 101 around here.
On another note I believe my add is done. I'll b rereading it later tonight and making any fixes then posting it tomorrow. It's quite big.

Oh yeah we have something similar called Pot Noodle. Actually, that might even be a powder thing. I've never had one, tend to prefer cooking. And they're not that cheap I don't think. Maybe they are.
Mortality sounds interesting. General idea up somewhere? genre deets etc?

Yes, I have it up on the board. Just go to home and click Zephyr's Campfires. It should be right in there. You're totally and completely welcome if you're interested. Just let me know when to send you an invite if you want to be in it.

Oh and guys I've run it over in my head a couple of times and...
Well..
As a black guy, I've decided that if you want I will write for a black character in Rebel Earth. In my head I saw an engineer of some kind but in a wheelchair. Haven't quite pinned down where I think he's from originally though. Maybe South Africa (cause I've actually met a guy from there once).

Oh and right now I'm typing up my add for Anti-Hero so I can reread Rebel tomorrow and see if I want to post or expand it a little more. Trying to decide if I should stop it where it is (just before he sets off on his own to head to Blarney) or a little into his actual journey to the castle. Trying to gauge it with how much time has passed so far in the campfire.

Oh Ramen...so hideously bad for you...but so cheap...
You should join Mortality, Matt. I need my writing buddy in as many campfires as humanly possible...or just the ones I'm in.
We are a little white-washed right now, I think. We have a Middle Easterner and an Asian, but I don't believe we actually have anyone from Africa or even South America. I was planning on expanding into Brazil, which I see as a pretty strong pro-Rebel place. Like Carnivale is actually one, big Rebel celebration, but Omega doesn't know because it's all coded. So I would actually love to do something in Brazil. In fact, I would love for it to be the staging point for the "invasion" of America at the end. So yeah, go ahead and write for a black guy. Write for as many people as you want. Omega, Rebel, Civilian, etc.

Cheap and quick.
Okay I might do that, but it may wait an add or two.

Dude, you've improved more than just about any other writer I can think of. If that doesn't sound hopelessly arrogant, or anything. The ideas you maintain in your head, the threads you pull together, have grown by leaps and bounds since I've been writing with you. Matt agrees completely. It's a pleasure writing with you.

That is quite possibly the best compliment I've ever gotten on my writing before. You and Matt are incredible writers. Everyone in RE is. I feel so privileged to write with you guys and it pushed me to do my best. Indeed, the pleasure is all mine.

Me, too. It always takes me a while to internalize a character.

But again thanks for saying that stuff. I'm on such a compliment high. I have a tendency when complimented to become the "Which parts did you like?" guy so I'm gonna stop going on about it lol.

My favorite part...was actually the bit with the treehouse. We haven't really dealt with the loss people will experience. The ones our characters leave behind to find this grand war.

And I'm dragged back in.
Actually that was my favorite part to include in that as well. It's the scene I reread the most to make sure I got everything I wanted in it (and I still had some typos lol)

Absolutely There's just so many different elements. For the record I tried to write a review earlier that was highly complimentary and stuff but it wouldn't let me submit it.
