Yous guys! (<---That's what that post made me think.)
Honestly, he isn't highly educated. Think a Laras who was never trained and just likes to hit hard, but who's been out and fought on a constant battlefield for pretty much his whole life, which has made him quite good. I think he has the same instinct that Laras has, but it hasn't been honed and refined the way Laras' has, so he's not quite as good. And Laras is a member of the intellectual elite, as well, which Colt isn't. Basically...if Laras had never gone to Oxford and been honed, he would probably be a lot more like Colt.

Yous guys? What am I missing? I know I've picked up some pretty bad Scottish habits... haha.
So he's an uneducated, untrained Laras. Without the Russian history, the crazy family and the fear of dogs.

Yous guys is a sort of Italian-American slang thing, especially in the New York and Jersey areas of the country. This is far different than the y'all I hear most of the time down here in Florida, or the heavily accented English/Spanish combination known as Spanglish.
Yes. Colt is Laras without the Laras bits. And he is breaking down because of the loss of his family, but that translates to reaching out and grabbing the only person being nice to him (Mia) as opposed to Laras' tendency to become a snarling animal. Laras was right about Colt; he can't be trusted. But not because he's a bad guy; he just needs some psych help.
The eldest child? Phelps is in his middle thirties, so unless he had a child at eighteen and that child is now at least eighteen himself, I'm not sure. Perhaps an early training program sort of thing, but nothing big.
