Santa Fe was awful.
So red and dull and boring and full of these ridiculously pretentious 'artists' with overly expensive shit that no one ever needs to buy. I liked the Navajo I met though, though that was Arizona/Utah/New Mexico.

I like Santa Fe, but then again...I spend more time visiting the Navajo artists than anything else.

You should go spend some time with the Navajo if you get the chance. Probably the most surreal experience of my life. And more stars than I've ever seen too - which is saying something considering how much sailing I've done.

I don't know where else to write this... but do any of you ever struggle to write past a certain point in a story after losing sympathy with a character? Until now I hadn't realised the many similarities between one of the characters I came up with in a novel with this chap I was involved with a while back. And now I just want to kill the character off or something because nothing else is working and he won't do what I want anymore.
*sigh*
Ok. mumbles over. As are my deadlines btw. Except for the dissertation of course.
