Ah, it could be one of the collars that Alius make humans wear. Also, it helps that our characters will likely meet early on and while Erol is incognito. The beginning will be him on a mission where he's going into a hotel and planting some devices to sabotage security for LSO to come in and capture an official who's visiting. When that happens, at the same time; the Mak Shi are going to assault it with the objective of killing the official. It's pretty much chaos.
Anyway Erol is there and his g-gene makes him undetectable by the Alius. They can't smell him or anything so your character won't even know he's human. He'll just think he's a decently dressed Alius.

Then my character wouldn't care for him much. Not knowing the kind of situation you were setting up makes it a little difficult to suggest appropriate ideas. x:
I don't know then. My character wouldn't be a very welcome figure either, being in exile and all.

Oh I forgot to address one of your much earlier questions. LSO somewhat known. The government tries to keep them under wraps. If your character is pro human there's a chance she believes in that kind of stuff and would be on somewhat of a lookout for things like that. She'd know he wasn't Mak Shi. Mak Shi don't dress nice or speak kindly, or use open diplomacy style espionage.

See you have all this espionage stuff down here. Let's apply to Rebel woo!

Lol yeah, not enough humans left to fight Omega in this one. That'd be a disaster. Then again Alius would fight them too so maybe...still...yuck. Enough crossover talk lol.

huh... I didn't mean that Rebel should coincide with Magistricide... I meant... you have so much about espionage in this one so let's use that same background to bolster the spywar in Rebel.

AHHHH I see what you're saying lol. Well, it seems there's a lot of espionage and stuff in this one because one of the main characters is the go to spy and stealth guy since Alius can't detect him. There's actually quite a bit more action in this campfire than in Rebel. Wait, so do we have any actiony assault

Rebel is going to be all action once we hit the next couple rounds. This is the Lull ha ha.

Yeah...if Matt will help me plan things!
But yes, Zeph, we need Tada to get to Blarney this coming round. Like...by the end of your next addition. That way we can have a round table in the NEXT round and get starting on a plan for the war. I start stuff happening in this addition, however, with Brazil and introducing Mynt's character. But we're all going to have to start writing more espionage stuff. Except Matt, who is already, in fact, writing tons of espionage stuff.

HE. And he still would be in exile so I don't know how he would be at this function.

Come up with a good reason an exile would be hanging out somewhere he doesn't belong with people he doesn't like.

Perhaps he isn't exiled until after the beginning of the campfire? He doesn't have the join LSO right off the bat, after all. It could be a couple rounds in.

What are you thinking Mynt? I mean there are a few scenarios that could work. Also, your character will not see Erol doing his work thing. No one will. That would be a failed mission lol. Though there is the chance that maybe he has seen Erol before or something and thing s he recognizes him and is suspicious.

Or... I mean... could it not be that this is all back story? Drop us all right in with Mynt's character already part of the LSO, albeit collared and we can tease out the story so we don't have to untangle the confusion here?

That's an idea.

I'm just thinking that maybe if it was background too, it could be a cause of contention at times but it can be dribbled into the story rather than us having to work around it right from the get-go. You think that's sound Mynt?

I like this idea. That way we dont need a 'why should we trust you' scenario right at the beginning. Because I dont have one. lol

Exactly. Plus having that so soon to the start would likely slow the initial pace of the campfire too because it would place that discussion very close to the center of the action. On the other hand, it can be used to greater effect if we have it as a sort of bone between the rest of the characters - where some trust and others doubt you character's loyalty. It would be a tension rather than a focus.
