Rebuilding Magistricide

Should I start slowly rebuilding Magistricide on here now that I have another location to hash out the ridiculous amount of info we had for that? I was really amped for that story and losing it sucked a lot so it'll be hard to try and rebuild but if there's a demand for it we can get on it? What do you say guys?

(for those who don't remember or who didn't know about Magistricide it was a story in which humans were taken over by a race called the Alius who looked exactly like humans but fed on us. They lived in secrecy for years until they had established a firm hold on our leadership positions and military and staged a worldwide coup and mass killing of people. The war was short and one sided but man managed to escape to a secret synthetic island {one out of three} getting all its military and martial arts specialists. Scientists and doctors, farmers and soldiers. Everyone who made it was the best at what they could do. Our population was reduced by about 60% and everyone who wasn't free and hiding inside the island was a slave or cattle. The freed later formed the LSO which stands for Last Stand Operatives that stood out from their 'civilians'. Every single member of the LSO was an incredible force to be dealt with.)

Military story about a small organization of humans fighting people that ate people. Your character was one of the Alius but he had weaned himself off of human flesh.

You helped me come up with the concept of the new gene that I don't remember the name of which gave them enhanced abilities.

I'd say give it another go. Sometimes it just needs to be done at a different time for it to be a success.

Yeah it was mostly the fact that I ended up having an avalanche of life blows and didn't get online for several months lol.

Now that I'm thinking about it I'd been thinking of making a before story for Magistricide when all the chaos of the Alius takeover is going on. I mean it's in my head how it goes down just all of a sudden.

BAM!

Your neighbors kick open your door and get all hulked out and begin eating you and your family. There's no sound outside other than crashing and screams. The night sky is literally filled with cries of death.

Some people manage to run and escape and find other humans just trying to fight to survive. To run, to hide, to do anything to escape the horrors going on around them.

In the end none of our characters would survive of course (unless we want there to be one refugee who makes it to the military escape boats or something).

I think it would be better if we did the original story first, then went back and did a prequel.

I thought that too, but the prequel would be really short as is. If it was a follow up I'd want it to be quite a bit longer than it is in my head. I do see your point though.
