Makes it sound like a hospital.
For those not in the know, there are basically two sides: hunters and hunted. Feel free to pick either side. I'll put the actual campfire up soon because I can.

I agree on it sounding like a hospital, but I would like to add that it sounds like a hospital on a far out there soap opera.

I'd say feel free to discuss characters and whatever, but I think only two people know what this campfire is about.

I am probably going to keep the original character I had. Probably going to change her name from Brigitte to something else as I don't usually prefer such overtly feminine names. She is a half-Fae/half-Human Hunter double agent. Her Father is one of the most celebrated Hunters of all time. He was also a serial rapist who targeted his female targets (Fae, witches, werewolves, etc) using psychic abilities that he kept a secret. My character's mother was a Daoine Sidhe, a warrior, who was stripped of her place in the Fay lands for giving birth to a half-human abomination; she was a victim of my character's Father.
Her ability is a combination of the illusion of Faerie and the iron of her humanity. She can create illusions of such solidity that they become almost real: flesh that cools when it dies, breath that feels hot on the skin, etc. Almost purely defensive magick in ever sense of the word, though she could probably create an illusion so frightening, it kills someone. One of her sword illusions might be able to convince someone that they've been stabbed in the heart and should fall over dead. It's like a mixture of her mother's abilities and her father's.
And basically, she works as a Hunter, but secretly finds hiding places for all of these people, using her Mother in the Faerie to help out. She uses her illusion skill to convince the Hunters that she has killed them and the money to help.
She was supposed to form a friendship (yes a friendship) with Matt's character at some point.

*foresees a more involved relationship.* But it sounds good, Quadquad.
Basically it's about the werewolves, vampires, witches, and fae being revealed to the world and the world handling it badly. The humans rule them as abominations against nature and sets out to kill them all. Everyone has an option to be a hunter or a hunted. However, there is no overarching plot to begin with. *evil grin.*

Actually, if I recall, Matt's character was gay.

OMG, this is THREE! THREE CAMPFIRES in which Matt's and my characters will not be romantically involved.

Holy crap! It is!
But seriously, I dunno if my character is much interested. Her whole life is vengeance against her Father and helping the Supernatural set. But of course, she is hated by her Mother's people, lives a very precarious life pretending to fit in with her Father's, and has nothing. Her Mother is going to die at some point, I think. If any character should find love, it's her.

Sending out invites, or is it full?

I think I can answer this: she hasn't sent them out yet because she hasn't gotten around to creating it yet.

I haven't put it up yet.
Aw, your character needs someone to love. I have decided that it is her job to find love in this story. I'm not sure on my character yet. I liked the idea I had for my ten year old, cept life is harder for him now. So I'm thinking I want to make someone who actually fits in and has a fighting chance in this world. But I want to get Mortality up before I even begin considering a character.

Oh right I'm in on this. So how are the Hunters organized? My first thought was someone who sort of rejected both sides of the whole thing. Mostly a survivalist not really trusting most people or others.
Also as far as romance I'd opt up for it. I adore finding romance for characters, but well we gotta see if the chemistry works. Not really sure right off the top of my head what sort of person *vengeance girl* would go for.

I dunno, either. Aoife (vengeance girl) isn't particularly interested right now. It'll take a bit of writing for her to find out.

Well, if she's doing the same campfire...
The Hunters are in charge of finding and hunting Supernatural creatures. Some Supernaturals, in an effort to save themselves, join the Hunters and fight against their own kind. So a character that is neither would either be a human with no connection to the Hunters or a Supernatural in hiding, which is what I believe Matt was doing.
