Quinn found herself face first in a mud pit. She spat as she rose blindly to her knees digging her fingers through the mud that invaded her mouth, scraping her tongue in disgust.

"Are you alright, miss?" a soft voice called out from a distance. Quin could hear a door shut. Was there a house that close? she chastised herself for being such a klutz with an added admonition of her lack of awareness.

"Oi, Who you be!?" she shouted automatically lashing out in self defense. Her dagger was loosed and ready in her hand pointed at the voice as Quinn took into a fighting stance. "I may be a healer but that just means I can bloody mess you up!"

"I'm not going to hurt you, the Dagda hasn't laid his claim on either of us today so would you please put your weapon away, miss?" My name is Moira."
The voice was calm but Quinn nearly fell again as she swung herself around to face it's direction again, the woman moves without sound!

After a long pause Quinn allowed one hand to whip mud from her eyes, she kept her ears and dagger trained on the sound of the woman's whispered breath as best she could until light flooded into her vision again. She opened her eyes to become face to face with this Moira woman. she looked down right alarmingly pale. One look and her training kicked in. The knife was back in it's sheath and she was digging through her bag for a powdered mix. "Here drink this with your evening tea, it should help your blood flow... I'm Quinn, I'm a medicine woman. Have you been experiencing faintness recently? any open wounds or sores? My you are incredibly pale, Moira." Quinn pulled Moira down by the collar of her tunic and put there foreheads together, "You don't seem to be running fever..."

Oh, that. No, I didn't ignore that. It just didn't make it in this round, is all. Moira went directly from the Otherrealms with whatsherface to finding Agrippa, and at the end of this addition has only just re-entered the human realm. So your addition will have happened AFTER the events of my addition this round. Does that make sense? Probably not.

I should probably have referenced it at the end of this addition, but I was tired of writing.

But my add doesn't mention her because I didn't know if she was there with Moira at the time.

I fixed it! And, actually, that's fine. Moira is not about to drag everyone around with her to pick everyone up. Agrippa has to come--he's tied to her at all times for now--so I figure Quinn is just sitting at Moira's hut trying to figure out what the hell a Roman ghost is doing there and how Moira is still alive without any blood flow. Moira will have told her to stay while she picked up the Seer.

Moira is a coming across a lot younger and less Galadriel-esque than I had intended, but that's OK.

Ick those both sound terrible. No, I've seen them it's just been a long time. I have a lot of media stimulation guys so I forget things. LOTR was great and all but it wasn't my absolute favorite thing ever in the universe. I just enjoyed it like I do any movie series I like.

Also at the time I had a lot of trouble remembering fantasy names in characters, but oddly never ever had trouble remembering the names of anime characters lol.

Well, Moira (my character) is meant to be a lot like a Tolkien Elf, but isn't coming across that way so much. And that's what we've been talking about in the thread, aside from my not mentioning that beast's character had already met Moira in his first addition. Which I fixed.

This campfire is about bringing God back to life after Satan has killed him and taken over the Roman Empire. And using the Goddess to do it. It's a reworking of the Isis/Osiris myth, so to speak.

I dunno about everything, though...

The problem with trying to make Moira be envisioned like Galadriel is that she has the POV in her posts. Galadriel as much as we might love her is mysterious and ethereal because we cannot know what is going on in her brain at all times.

I know. The easiest way to do this is with the way she speaks and not getting flustered or whatnot. She speaks very deliberately and demonstrates very little in the way of emotion.
