No one touch my Matticakes! I need him to help me edit my novel...
When I finish it.
All these campfires have me filled with such glee that I have rather decided I hate my novel. But I know all I need is a second pair of eyes (and a warning that the novel did a lot of shifting throughout the process, causing lots of inconsistencies that I am TOTALLY aware of, and that I started editing the beginning a little and stopped halfway through editing the first chapter in order to start NaNo again...) and I'll love it again.
I hope. Either that or Matt will rip it a new one and I'll cry and print it out only to burn it into ash.

I am. Renaissance reenactment for a number of years. Trained first with a shinai and then I moved on to blades.

You sure I couldn't knock you over? I know a little about blades myself. I'm also good at putting people on the ground without having to hurt them. I think armor might just make it easier. You'd be better just showing up all huffed up and angry and being a female. That generally scares me.

You also do not shoot AT the arrows. You shoot the arrows at the target. You know how you feel about MMA? I feel that way about archery. And I never made light of martial arts.

I'm not making light of it lol. You misunderstand. I think archery is awesome. It's a really badass skill that I'd like to know and am by no means a prodigy.
I was just being insanely difficult to explain the concept to to see if you could corner me with logic.

Are you supposed to hold your breath for longer range shots? Well....actually more of expel all your breath before so you don't move. Or is that just with guns?
