To put it politely... sounds like shit. But I was seriously only ever into games that had myths/legends/history attached.

It was pretty cool. It'd probably make more sense if someone like Quaddy explained it. xD I have very bad summary skills.

Sometimes I wonder what a complete stranger coming to this forum would think...
I WOULD BE A GOD!

Lol it's nothing like that.
No. Basically the premise is that since the dawn of man there has been a split in the genus. We are Homo Sapiens they are Homo Alius. They look like us but they're generally weaker and more frail in muscle tone. They're muscles are spongier and their bones are denser and harder, but generally they are exactly the same to see physically. However, they eat human flesh, it's one of the only meats they can eat and makes for the majority of their diet if they are to stay healthy.
Long long long ago they were called dead eaters because they had to scavenge the battlefields and sites of skirmishes or hunts to eat the corpses of the fallen warriors and hunters.
Basically they sort of learned from humans how to behave like us and blend in completely. The underwent a covert plan over several eras of time before they were finally in power and then turned on us taking over everything.
Now people are like cattle essentially. The last of the world's military might and stuff opted to go into hiding instead of fighting to the last man and eventually a group called the LSO was formed (Last Stand Operatives). Their base is 1 of 3 manmade islands that remains cloaked from the Alius.
So the story is pretty much them trying to find a way to overthrow the Alius and take back their world.
I suppose I could start if up and whatnot if you guys wanted me to. I'm up for it.

Hey. They're just trying to survive man. Instead of wiping them out there should be some kind of peace and stuff. I mean that's totally uncool. Rude.

Then there should be rehabilitating, not slaughter!

Can't rehabilitate if you're being eaten, can you? First you have to fight your way out of the hole, and that means war.

*nods* As leader of the LSO, Regan is primarily responsible for freeing humanity from these dangers. So I kind of had to delve into the reasons and motives for the war and the psyche of the whole freedom movement.

A little bit of both, if I recall. At least, I believe Regan trusted him, so he would have to be both reliable and sort of mad.

Beast used to have a forum that I had all the characters on. Quaddy was a scarce visitor at the time and I don't remember talking to much at the time. I know I'd invited you but I could have sworn you turned it down at the time. Maybe I invited you again later or something but it was already dying out.
Anyway the objective isn't to necessarily kill all of the Alius, Beast's character was sort of a testament to that. The objective is to reclaim our place in the world and stop the Alius from eating us. It's not our duty to rehabilitate them, it's theirs if they wish to survive.
What's rude is we taught them survival and they repaid us by eating, enslaving, and dominating us and driving our forces into hiding.
Wait Matt, did you play the head scientist guy who's father developed the method for activating the g-gene?

Tolerance and coexistence man. If they need help learning to coexist, you should help them. And you never said anything about teaching them survival, just that they learned to blend in. Their primary food source is people, so of course they're going to want to eat you! They know people are going to have some issues with this for obvious reasons, so they take steps to squash this resistance. They don't want to die out because it's not socially acceptable to eat people.

So you're saying that if your next door neighbor or best friend for instance showed up at your house in the middle of the night, kicked in your door, and started smashing you around by your ankles and taking bites out of you you'd try and talk to them about alternate food sources?
Probably not.
Teaching them survival was passive, they learned from humans every step of the way and then when they got the opportunity they took over. The world is OWNED by them and every human in it. Human beings have less rights than cows do in modern society (not counting India).
Like I said, the objective is not to send Alius into extinction, but to break out from under their thumb and reclaim our society. To them, having us as slaves and food IS tolerance and coexistence. They see the LSO as terrorists and murderers. There's no such thing as negotiation.
Also, to say it's not 'socially acceptable' to eat people is the biggest candy coating I've ever seen lol. No it absolutely is not. I actually believe I had it written down that they could eat beef, pork, and chicken but its very unhealthy for them. What are supposed to do? Donate people to them to eat so they don't eat us? What kind of compromise is that?
