You could always give them dead people to eat. They were doing that before, yes?

Oh right, no the problem with that is that they've evolved and adapted too much since the Stone Age and that'd make them really sick now, just like if we ate rotten meat. Not to mention they've already taken over now, why would they want to have to negotiate with us so they could eat our dead? Right now they can have the freshest food, the most loyal slaves, and even willing fuck-subjects.
Still though, join. Join Mynt. You have proven to be what we lack.

That being the bleeding heart idealist who thinks about the things that'll happen after the war and if we manage to win. We have no one like that.

If I did that, I don't think anyone would like my character. lol

Nah not like that. You may wanna keep quiet around Regan (which is how everyone is) but it's a necessary role. Someone who keeps them grounded on the issue of the fact that eventually that's what it'll come down to. Either they'll be able to live with the Alius or we'll have to do to them what they did to us. Not eat them of course, but crush them down to their barest form and eliminate them. I mean really they're all a bunch of soldiers, highly trained, highly specialized, thoroughbred, creme de la creme of soldiers, but warriors all the same.
They're primarily focused on the mission and their targets. They have no empathy for the Alius. Your character could keep them from repeating history.
Also you guys never told me if you wanted me to go ahead and reboot it or not.

Oh hey Matt, I found some old mail about your characters: > Actually I have!! I'm probably going to post the latest ideas on FriFir in the next > few minutes or so. Would I need to be a soldier? Could I be a survivor or an escaped slave?

Actually Stil's original character was an escaped slave that Erol (my character) found right after a mission and brought her in. It pisses Regan off lol.
But yeah you can be an escaped slave, or a 'civilian' member of the LSO like the scientists or doctors and people who aren't deployed on missions.

Thus far you have plenty of time to come up with something. Don't worry about it right now.

I'm not understanding this exactly. Eating people is nutritious for them, so if humans were to get from under their thumb the Alius would die? Could they possibly eat vegetables and not die out? I know beef, pork, and chicken is unhealthy for them, but would they die if they eat it? This is more curiosity than anything else, lol.

We could make like True Blood and create synthetic meat for them. Not the same taste, but it keeps them alive.

I was thinking the same thing, lol.

Basically the only thing they can eat to get real nutrients is human flesh. Next is pork, then beef, then chicken.
It's not impossible for them to wean themselves off of human flesh over time but they won't be quite as healthy or happy. It's genuinely horrible for them not to do so. Beasts character as I said was one of the rare half-breed occurrences and managed to survive on alternate means of nutrition without serious detriment, he also has a g-gene like a human.

Regan just wants the vermin gone, really. They ripped her father to shreds and the only reason she is still alive is because they thought she was dead when they got to her ('cause she basically was). Under no circumstances will Regan have sympathy for the Alius. They can either learn to adapt without human flesh or leave. Those that choose neither of those will die. In Regan's mind, they lost the right to be dealt with in a civilized manner when they decided to enslave humanity. She is also a vegetarian for the same reason.

My first addition is on the first page of this forum. You'll notice Regan doesn't really care for most people. Taran she likes. Really, so long as your character takes orders and does what he/she is told to do when he/she is told to do it, Regan won't have he/she strung up for insubordination...and she probably won't care about your character's incredibly naive (in Regan's opinion) views on the Alius.

Lol, which is why you two won't talk much lol. I believe we discussed that lots of the LSO members were vegetarian cause eating meat can be tough when you've seen so many humans turned into culinary end results.
A little turmoil will be good for the plot lol.
I know they pretty much all had tattoos. Regan had Archangel Michael smiting Satan and that Lion, Erol had that tribal sun and stuff but I may change his.

Probably not. Poor Tony...dealing with X and Jade all the time. Regan is like Tony only she doesn't give a rat's ass about paperwork. She'll just courtmartial you.

She also likes Erol even though she'd kinda like to bash his head in. I also know that she and the Assault Commander are supposed to be close. I think his name was Keith or something, but he was the only other person eligible to succeed Astor but she got it anyway.
Oh, and even if I upgrade it won't be in my stuff. I just looked, and I was having Stil run it for me.
