Indeed they have. They've been loads of fun. Then you had to go and insult Dickens...

You've given Tada a very poorly advised opportunity.
Lol nah...looks like it's Colt that's gonna hop on that train.

Laras is going to murder Colt in his sleep, which is why I decided it should be him. Don't want Tada to die. But the whole point is for Mia to be so distraught, she runs into someone else's arms. Basically, Laras pushes her away and refuses to acknowledge they're in any sort of relationship. And when she up and leaves him and sleeps with Colt--with whom she has cultivated a friendship throughout the story--he is the one with the "WTF have I done" moment...after he storms out of Blarney and off to Russia. And after Colt, Mia, and Tada go off to take America. If Wolfie doesn't come back, Colt might have to die, but then it seems like we created him just to fuck with Laras and Mia...

Well in essence he'd still be necessary. Though that's good. I think the timing will line up fine. He won't start his shameless flirting (read: fucking) until after he's been there a while which means by that time Mia will have either slept with Colt or be well on her way. OH, and she'll have someone to talk to before Laras rage nukes the world.
This is the wrong campfire again.

Actually, it could be Tada who suggests to Mia that perhaps she should move on from Laras. Go find someone else.
Well, at least it's one of mine...

Lol true. That is possible. Maybe, I dunno. He already knows she loves him. I guess it'd depend on how quickly she talks to him about it after he gets there.

And counting? Oh boy. TWO HUNDRED TO GO!
Damn...I work the next three days...
Frack.
Laras is quite literally going to tear Mia to pieces. He's going to test her loyalty to the point that it frays to almost nothing. Well beyond a normal person's forbearance, but Mia is stubbornly loyal. I think Laras just wants to prove to himself that Mia was going to leave him eventually...to prove himself right. Sounds like something he would do.

That also did not come out right knowing those two.

Well, the Colt thing will help. But basically, Edward and Laras are going to pull Mia in two different directions. Edward believes she needs to leave the war and stand with him, Laras obviously wants her to keep fighting and he thinks Edward is an idiot. So fights between those two are going to escalate with Mia trying to get the two to balance one another out. Eventually, Mia is going to choose Laras and fighting, effectively sending her brother away, because she loves Laras and believes firmly in the cause. But then, Laras is going to be an asshat and instead of realizing what she did for him, he's going to tell her he did it for the stupidest reasons and is an idiot and they're not in a relationship and blah blah. Which is going to ruin Mia and send her into someone else's arms. When Laras finds out what Mia did, he storms off to Russia. Mia volunteers to be part of the very dangerous mission to America in order to forget Laras and nearly dies, but Laras rescues her because he realizes he's a douche.

Yeah...the war portion of this story is probably secondary to the soap opera-esque character interactions we have going on...

Maybe we should actually read that book Matt wants us to read...
Also, we need to start killing people. This started off with the Fall of America, but other groups need to go out and be defeated. Luckily, we have Mynt's character, who's going to start sending encoded information to Blarney as she is hiding from Omega from places all over the world. I think basically, there needs to be tiny victories on the battlefields, but Omega needs to be systematically rolling its way over most of the planet.
More and more people need to be blackbagged, kidnapped, tortured, killed, etc. Like I said, Brazil is a big part of the rebellion. I wouldn't mind it if Mynt's character ended up there.
I admit that I'm relying a lot on Matt to be all espionage-y. She has her Russian/French/Spanish thing going on...
I mean, I have Shlomi. Which is more of a character piece than a war thing: basically, Cyril is going to sacrifice herself to save Shlomi and get him away from Oxford. And Shlomi is going to die not long after that since Ether is going to defeat Cyril and come after him. It's a sort of heartbreaking story that happens all the time in war: humanity being overwhelmed and destroyed by the machine of war. I do think Shlomi is going to get off some sort of information related to America before dying...but I dunno what.

Well once she get back to Blarney I can writer for Jess on the espionage front as well. I don't do it often really but I can write for females. Then the black engineer guy, and General Gyle, and Glenn Tyde, and maybe more from Teira. Maybe she'll help Tada somehow. Haven't decided yet whether to keep her a villain or make her an unlikely ally.
