My internet is bugging out on me at the moment, and I'll be unable to log on for a while, or until I can find out why it's doing it to begin with. I'm stuck to using the library's internet until then, but I can't keep making the trip here everyday from where I live, so please try to bare with me until I can find out what's going on on my end. Thanks for understanding. And I hope to see you all soon.

Zeph- I prefer Western-style comic book art. But not the highly stylized stuff, either. I LOVE the art from Fables. Mark Buckingham is amazing.

So it looks like the problem with the internet was the 30-40 MPH winds we were having up here. I thought that was the case, but just to let you guys know, it might happen again. So in case I'm not on at least every-other day, it's probably something like that.

Lol okay Quaddy. I can appreciate both quite a bit. Besides, I'm a Z fan. If there's anything I've heard before, it's every joke about the series that has ever existed. Hell the funniest jokes about DBZ are made by fans. DBZ Abridged series is freaking hilarious.

I also like my characters to have noses. It's a thing.

Anime characters do have noses unless they're Krillin.

No, it's just created by shading. You don't actually draw the nose like in some art styles, you draw the shading around it and it forms. That's actually how I was taught to draw noses in my art classes. Besides, it's really unfair to blanket all anime into one category. Each artist has a very distinct style and certain details change depending on how they draw theirs.

I've seen quite a bit actually as my friend prefers to draw that way. I just prefer distinct lines as opposed to impressions. For me, too much of anime-style art relies upon the impression of things rather than the drawing of them. I prefer my people to look...like people. Not like the impression of people.
For example...to go WAAAAYYYY back, I HATE the art style of Sailor Moon. I was very unpopular in elementary and middle school because of this opinion, but I have stuck with it.
You find me an anime that isn't ridiculous and has realism in its artwork and I will probably enjoy it. And no assassins who work at flower shops, please. Or ninja. Or squids.

Some people are just too picky Besides, I hated Sailor Moon too. I have a penis which made this permissible. Still, I think purely for story purposes you should give Death Note a shot. I will never bug you about another anime lol. I'm not really trying to bug you about this one but I could see you actually kind of enjoying it. It's excellently written and thought out.

Geeze, Zeph. Gah.
I'm not behind for once. Just lazy.
No, I'm actually still figuring out Rebel. Aiden is going to come back, I think. So he's another American. But he's an expat, so he wasn't actually in America during the cull. I think he's going to lead a sort-of rebirth for the American movement that involves re-instituting the black market. That, combined with the information Mynt's character sends on Prime, the whole food/freedom thing, and Brazil will equal the attack on Prime. Basically, they want to take over Prime and make it like Oxford only the whole thing is pretending to be an Omega Station while actually working as a Rebel enclave.
See? Still figuring it out.

Right. What are we doing there? I mean, like I said, by the end of round three, she is running from the palace...so round four should see her turning up on your doorstep.

Well tbh I imagined that he'd attend the sword tournament - basically the time he always comes to check on Lyn since that's the only time he can really get closer to her.
I think Abner never really paid attention to Hamhir historically and that although he recognises him as one who helped him get into power, he's also a kind of nobody in his eyes. So he can't visit or anything like that. Thus he attends events so he can keep his promise.

So in the short term, he comes to the tourney. Do they use it as an opportunity to meet or does he (at the risk of sounding creepy) watch her?
I think that's probably the only reason he's managed to live a life of relative serenity. If Abner thought anything of him (or if his relationship, however innocent, with Lyn), Hamhir would probably be on the streets like Kale or dead...

That and he lives in a very small town very close to Zule.
But I don't know. Maybe they have a signal that lets her know he's there because he can't be seen to get too close.
