We're cool. I do enjoy an interesting take on Vampires. They're not my favorite, really, but interesting new takes are always good.

I've always been more of a werewolf person...but, really, I don't much care for monsters.

Werewolves are the best. But when it comes to vampires, yeah.

I'm with you there on the wolves Miss Q, Agent Q, yes I like that, but yeah I like wolves, and I'm really excited about the direction I want to take them too. Although, I like vampires a lot too, but I got tired of all the old stuff that people constantly use. I need something new and refreshing to get the creative flow running.

Q has always been my favorite Bond character, actually.
I LOVE the way the Parasol Protectorate dealt with Werewolves and Vampires. Essentially, soul is a measurable entity and, if someone has excess soul, they can be turned. But the only way to know if someone has excess soul is to try and change them (though you can kinda tell who might have extra soul while they're alive sort of). Actors, musicians, opera singers, and the more flamboyant tend to favor the werewolf camp, whereas the more scientific and intellectual types tend to favor Vampires. Also, both factions are "out", so to speak, in society, even taking part in Victoria's government. Werewolves also tend to represent the military faction of the government, whereas Vampires tend to be more political.
The main character actually is the opposite and has NO soul, so her touch actually turns a supernatural creature mortal for as long as she is touching them.
It's very cool.

Yes, that does sound cool. I've never heard of that before now though. I'll look into that now too.
