It's the one about the immortals I was talking about in the new campfires spot. You can kinda do what you want. I'm trying to leave it pretty open as far as roles go.

I'm in, of course. Let's try not to talk too much about the plot until after we get into it. that way the story can evolve a little on it's own, AND we don't annoy Mynt.

*feels like a dragon.* Yeah, I skimmed it some. Are we supposed to be immortals then? And it's medieval? But no bioblocks, yes? If you want me, I will come.

Lol yeah no bioblocks just for you Mynt . Actually I never planned on having a bioblock for this one. Anyway, I'll invite Quaddy, Mynt, and Beast for now then anyone else who wants in I'll send invites when the time comes. For now I'm going to put a few details on the setting but no real plot details. I'll probably have an add up tomorrow or something.

Our characters are ideally all immortals whose memories stretch back to just a few years after the current medieval era began. If you really don't want to be immortal you don't HAVE to but it's more or less the basis for this story as far as I can see so far.
Women are treated equally to men by all official standards.
Ruling class is a Monarchy headed by an Immortal King and an Immortal Queen ordain to rule for 100 years. In bordering countries this is also a common theme even if the ruling class is not a monarchy.
Humans don't have to be the only race.
That's about it really. If you have questions please feel free to ask.

Yup. My first add is up, starting a tad slow but it's just what came out. Good to have all the exposition laid out and some characterization.

Hi! Question: if our memories only stretch back to a little bit before the Medieval era began, how do we know we are immortal? Could we not just be extraordinarily long-lived, especially as there are races other than the human race to bother with? Does someone else say "hi!, you're immortal, but you've lost your memories somehow...sorry" or something?

Good question. I suppose we don't know we're entirely immortal unless you've had experiences that should have killed you and didn't. My character Karam has had them. Though I suppose they won't know 100% for certain until some of their memories come back. Until then it'd be something like a really strong gut feeling.

I think my character will have journals. So old that the majority of them are unable to be read just because they might crumble to dust but other reaching back just beyond his oldest memories. So that in itself could tell my character that he's immortal by words used by his previous self.
QUESTION: what sort of magical level is this world?

That'd work, but in regards to how I see things escalating he'd have to have the earliest of them missing. None of the ones written before the beginning of the era would normally be in his possession, but that doesn't mean there couldn't be references within them to times before. In fact even one thing he doesn't remember writing could be a trigger.
I only say that stuff because basically whatever evil immortal people that stole away their memories would be keeping tabs on them waiting to see if they get their memories back. When that starts, they'll move to confront them.
Still it's a very good idea.
To rephrase, Karam will have what we call assumed immortality. He's experienced what should have been death more than once and his survival coupled with his longevity and inability to age have given him said status.

Oh oops lol.
magic level on a scale of 1 to 10 is like 3. It exists but is not incredibly powerful in most cases. Most 'magic' is very nature based and arcane studies are far and few between. There are things thought that are unexplainable by science that techinically would qualify as magic (such as the fact there our characters are immortals).
To get techinical there would be three kinds. Natural, Arcane, and Theoretical.
Natural is considered to have grown with the earth
Arcane is energy that is older than the world.
Theoretical are things that are possibly unproven sciences.
